Mike is one of a few select athletes to be named to Nike's Team Jordan. Team Jordan consists of various athletes hand picked by Michael Jordan himself. Michael Jordan has been a fan of Mike's for a long time, and selected him to be a part of Team Jordan when he was a rookie with the Vancouver Grizzlies.
Mike wears special player edition version of Air Jordan shoes. These shoes are made only in his size and feature colors to match his uniform that are not produced or sold in stores.
